Designing an Interactive Empathy Assessment Tool




Virtual Reality is often called as "empathy machine" because it offers an immersive, embodied experience which promotes opportunities for perspective-taking. In this research project, we seek to uncover ways to design an interactive Virtual Reality game to assess and develop empathy and social-emotional learning in children inspired by the Kids Empathy Development Scale(KEDS)

Study 1: Conduct role-play activities and focus groups with children
Children play games of emotional charades and fill the survey inspired by the Kids Empathy Development Scale.
